Below is a practical summary of the most common rules. The detailed and binding wording is always stated in the rental contract signed at pick-up.
We typically require two valid identity documents (e.g. ID card/passport and a driving licence). The details are written into the rental contract.
The deposit and the expected rental fee are paid at pick-up. The car is covered by comprehensive insurance; the insurance excess is specified in the contract (depending on the vehicle class).
We hand over the car at the agreed time and place. After the rental ends, the renter must return the car on time, in reasonable condition, and with fuel level not lower than at pick-up (unless agreed otherwise).
After the agreed return time we charge a delay fee of 100 CZK for each started hour (unless agreed otherwise in advance).
In case of an accident, damage or breakdown, the renter must stop safely, turn off the engine if needed, and contact the lessor immediately. In serious cases, call the police and follow the instructions in the contract.
Travelling abroad is possible only with prior approval. If the renter goes abroad, they may be required to arrange (at their own cost) assistance/insurance with towing back to the Czech Republic.
Smoking is prohibited in the vehicle. Transporting animals is not allowed unless agreed. The renter must not damage the interior/exterior and must not hand the vehicle over to a person not listed in the contract.
Traffic fines during the rental are paid by the renter. Missing fuel may be charged at the usual fuel price plus a handling fee (per contract). Charges may also apply for lost/damaged keys or documents, excessive dirt, and special interior cleaning.
We process personal data to fulfil the contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests. The vehicle may be equipped with a GPS tracking system for exceptional situations (e.g. theft recovery) until the vehicle is returned; details are in the contract.
Tip: If you are unsure which car or dates to choose, message us on WhatsApp or call us – we can usually advise quickly.
The binding wording is always the signed rental contract.
